Tim Felton began his law enforcement career in October of 1976. Tim became DARE Certified in 1991 and has taught at several schools in Winnishiek County prior to retiring in 2018 from the Sheriff's Office. Tim was selected as the Iowa D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year in 2005 and served as President of the Iowa D.A.R.E. Association in 2008. Tim also enjoys providing the ALiCE training since 2013. Tim was trained as a Mentor and has served on the DARE Iowa training team since 2011 and currently represents the Iowa Sheriffs & Deputies Association on the DARE Advisory Board.
