The DARE Iowa Advisory Board currently has 5 members. We assist the IDOA in planning and hosting the annual training conference each year. Other responsibilities include: provide planners and Shirts to all DARE students in Iowa, communicate with DARE America on the needs of Iowa Officers and take part in their training, work with MCTC to provide a low cost DOT each year, oversight of the Coordinators position, coordinate a statewide DARE Day, overall responsible for the funding of DARE In Iowa and providing materials to Officers that instruct the DARE curriculum.
